Our parish actively supports the Brimbank Pasefika Support Group through faith led outreach, food relief, and community care. By partnering on local initiatives, we help deliver practical aid, cultural connection, and spiritual encouragement to Pasefika families in need. Our shared mission reflects a commitment to uplifting our people with dignity, unity, and purpose across the wider Brimbank community
WEAVING PASEFIKA CONNECTIONS
A Pasefika led creative cultural program providing an intergenerational space that strengthens identity, belonging, and community. It brings people together through creative workshops, cultural storytelling, and hands‑on activities that honour Samoan, Tongan, Fijian, Māori and wider Pasefika traditions. The program creates safe spaces for connection, healing, learning, and cultural pride, empowering participants with confidence, skills, and a strong sense of who they are.
NIU OLA PASEFIKA FOOD RELIEF
Le Niu Ola began as a pilot project by EFKS Brimbank to deliver culturally grounded food relief to Pasefika families across Brimbank Faith Networks. Following its success, we’re working on a plan to reach more families across Victoria, with structured volunteer training, and sustainable partnerships. Our goal is to build a scalable, faith driven model that restores heritage nutrition and empowers Pasefika communities for generations to come
ANNUAL CHILDRENS WEEK CELEBRATION
Each year, EFKS Brimbank Central Parish proudly celebrates Children’s Week with culturally rich, family-friendly events that honour the value of every child. Through storytelling, games, performances, and shared meals, we create joyful spaces where Pasefika children feel seen, loved, and empowered. It’s a vibrant expression of our faith, heritage, and commitment to nurturing future generations.
This years theme for 2026 " Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture, and practice their religion".
HELPING HANDS ACROSS PACIFIC
We proudly support the Lions Club of Sunshine to support Helping Hands Across the Pacific. A compassionate initiative delivering aid, supplies, and hope to vulnerable communities across the Pacific Islands. Through this partnership, we extend our faith-driven mission beyond borders, sharing resources and solidarity with our Pasefika brothers and sisters.
